We offer 5 different levels on Windows WinXP training. 1. Beginners 1.5 hours How do they work? Do I want one? I have one... What do I DO with the thing? 2. Basic Windows.2 hours Okay, I've got the thing up and running. How do I use toolbars, menus and such? 3. Intermediate Windows. 2 hours How to get the most out these programs, or "OH! Is THAT what that thing does!? 4. Advanced Windows & computers. 2 hours Learn control panels, networking, wireless hook-up, etc. 5. Basic Internet browsing and email setup. 2 hours Internet and e-mail...learn to browse, set up email accounts. Other classes offered: 1. Advanced Internet browsing and email. 4 hours (using other browsers (Firefox, Safari, Opera) and mail retrieval programs (Thunderbird, Opera)). 2. Linux, a basic look for Windows people. 1.5 hours 3. Apple (Mac) operating system for people who think they might want to do something much easier and more trouble free than Windows.1 hour 4. Mac OS Leopard, beginning, 2 hours.
Windows Vista transition training from WinXP. 1.5 hours
Classes larger than 2 people and up to ten people are held in the computer lab at the Parkersburg Art Center on Market St. in Parkersburg, WV. These classes are on demand.
